I organize my books by genre. Within each genre, the books are alphabetized by authors. Within each author groups, the books are alphabetized by title. I also like Jan Karon, Lee Smith, Fannie Flagg, and JK Rowling-I will read just about anything.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11227394652312420680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4159257200454865972.post-33758754342159509232017-03-16T22:01:17.048-04:002017-03-16T22:01:17.048-04:00I hadn't heard of Gladys Tabor before, but wen...I hadn't heard of Gladys Tabor before, but went and looked on Amazon and found many of her books are available there some new and some used. I love reading books that are essentially journals so these are going on the list of books to read. Thanks for mentioning them.Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06316595488903619354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4159257200454865972.post-62618277082068584622017-03-16T16:29:45.991-04:002017-03-16T16:29:45.991-04:00You don't always score but it sounds like a gr...You don't always score but it sounds like a great outing anyway!podsohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14880888514207597761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4159257200454865972.post-90811344576150755622017-03-16T14:46:40.536-04:002017-03-16T14:46:40.536-04:00by color ☺️ unless I have several by the same auth...by color ☺️ unless I have several by the same author or several in the same genre...

I knew it was going to be a good day even if you didn't find too much of interest...I also purchase books for their titles only or if they have sweet illustrations. I recently found one on a sale rack at a library I was visiting for $1. Organizationally, I'm kind of loose. If I have several by an author (Taber, Nouwen, Stoddard, Miss Read, etc.) I'll shelve them together. Otherwise, they're kind of in categories - devotional, Bible reference books, decorating, personal growth, etc.
Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08740950362293427086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4159257200454865972.post-82309541504404326342017-03-16T08:16:10.616-04:002017-03-16T08:16:10.616-04:00That's sad to hear about the book store closin...That's sad to hear about the book store closing. I also enjoy Miss Read (school life in the English Cottswold region), and Jan Karon (Mitford series).
How I display my books are two different ways...mainly by Author in order of year written, but on my Living Room bookshelf, it's by color. I take the dust jacket off and arrange by seasonal color on the two top shelves!Instagram.com/melissasnoteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03389672466065251231noreply@blogger.com
