I read a number of books YEARS ago written by Michael Phillips and Judith Pella also set in Scotland (The Stonewycke Saga). I then read a series set in Russia and began reading the Secret of the Rose which I have (somewhere) but never finished. I love his writing, but between child rearing and working from home have not read much fiction in years. I am glad to be reminded of his writing now that I have time to read more.
