Information Friday

 

Hello dear friends!

I have a lot of information for you today, so as usual I ask that you read, ask God for wisdom and understanding, and pray for safety for the President and his cabinet!

Summertime

 

On Saturday, Tim and I traveled down to the DC area and hung out with our daughter Sarah and son in law Dave. We went out to lunch, and sat outside in the beautiful sunshine and watched people on pedal boats on a small lake. Then we drove to Great Falls Park. The Potomac River runs through a lovely gorge and the falls are so pretty.

It was very crowded not like this photo! It was also very hot!

We saw houses being built in this area that must be classified as super mansions! They are enormous. Sarah and Dave do not live in this area, and so we drove back to their small, but really nice apartment! We had a rest from the heat and crowds and had great discussions! So, so fun!

Then we realized it was after 7:00 pm and went to get some dinner. After dropping them off at their apartment, we headed home. 

It was such a great day.

On Sunday, Father's Day, we had an outdoor service at church and then the church picnic. The whole day was good! Worship, baby dedications, good message, 2 baptisms. It was fun to have my parents with us, too!

We took the grands home after, and then we napped, and Tim went to help our son in law, Wes with something. Came back and he mentioned that our son Nate texted and told him they were bringing the girls to swim.

This photo was taken at 8:19 pm. It was not only Father's Day but it was the summer Solstice! The youngest girls have really gained skill in the pool this year, so that is fun to see!

It was a hard day for my daughter in law as it was the 17th anniversary of her mother's death. She was killed by a drunk driver who crashed headlong into her car as she waited at a red light. My daughter in law said she just tried to keep busy yesterday. She died two months before Nate and Kay met.

I've been enjoying summer since Memorial Day and I will continue until Labor Day. I hope you are all doing well.

We are about to get the new presidential plane.

This is the paint scheme for the plane. Did you know that the current paint scheme is from the Kennedy era and that the current planes have been in service since George HW Bush was president?

Our own build of the new AF1 was delayed, then Qatar gave us a plane used by the Qatari Royal Family. It's been in Texas being gone over and fitted out with our own systems etc. You know they made sure there was no surveillance or bugging equipment on board.

Interesting Fact - Did you know that when the President went to China recently, the whole entourage left any 'gifts' given behind? They wanted to make sure they didn't take any bugging ability for the Chinese. Also I read that Trump and maybe all of those in the American contingent, didn't eat any food that wasn't prepared by his own chefs? They were concerned about little bots that can be swallowed and used to track. 

So amazing, right?

Fauci is in big trouble!

Fauci has been given a pardon, but it is possible that the autopen did it. He was given a pardon from 2014 which is when they started to fund the research. 

The democrat party has now aligned themselves with naz*s. After calling DJT and his followers that for years! 

They are showing that they are no longer for America. The America we are proud to be a part of, the America that has begun a resurgence in the world. We were tired of paying for the world with our hard earned money. We got no benefit from our hard work. We were discouraged and DJT came along to remind us of our greatness as a nation. Look how people have responded to Europeans and others who have come to America for the FIFA World Cup and have fallen in love with America and it's people!

The Democrats are mad about it. They only want things that they can control and keep their power.

Around My Cottage Recently

 

My days have been full of sunshine, blue sky, or summer storms! We had one that set off a tornado alert last night so we spent an hour down in the basement.

The weather today is cool and breezy, with sunshine. blue skies, and big. puffy, white clouds. My favorite.

My roses are blooming in the cottage garden, I'll try to get some photos this week. The Annabelle hydrangea are beginning to bloom, too!

My oldest grand turns 16 today! I hosted a party for her on Saturday. When her friends left she said, "That was fun!" That was music to my ears!

This summer is full of fun things and I am looking forward to all of it!
