We're In The Kitchen Baking...

for our tea tonight at church.

Lindsay has scones ready, and is making lemon curd.  We have the cream ready too.  Emily is making her world famous Lemon Bars and we are making Brenda's Cowboy Cookies, for the cookie exchange.  Like all cooks we have tweaked the recipe a bit leaving out the coconut as I am not such a fan of grated coconut.

I will get Lindsay to take photos and I will post tomorrow!

  3. Deanna - sounds like a wonderful event! We had our ladies' ministry event last evening - I'm posting about it today - and such a wonderful time. Your piano display is stunning! Love all the Christmas decor this time of year! Bless you and all - some great news coming from my end that I hope you'll rejoice with me in - stay tuned!
    Joy!

  4. Thanks for you comment on my mantle...I thought Carson was so sweet saying that too! :)
I LOVE having tea at church too! We've had some mother's day teas, but never a Christmas one...I should suggest that!
Our Christmas Choir/Band party at our house was a the best! We had 30something people in our house and we had a ball! (I'm still shocked we got all those people in here and had seats for everyone...glad we thought to bring in some folding chairs from church!) lol
Have fun at your tea and have a blessed day!
