Getting The Guest Room Ready For Guests!

This room has mostly sat empty for months, with the occasional granddaughter sleeping over. A few weeks ago, I bought a little bit of art for the room.

I love navy blue, but I don't use it a lot in my house. Sarah had these navy blue blackout curtains that she left in this room, so I decided to use them as a jumping off point. We had queen sized navy sheets, too, which is great.

I found this Van Gogh Giclee canvas on Amazon and purchased it for this room. I love the colors in it and new it would be perfect over the bed.

We put a small desk in here and a chair by the window. I am going to put a plant or two in this room as well. It's a bit motel like at the moment.

There is a wooden cabinet in this room too, and that holds homeschool materials.

I want to put a rug in this room as well, though that may not happen before this weekend! We'll see.

One of Tim's sisters will be staying this weekend, then our friends will move over from the Inn they are staying at for a few days.

It's going to be so fun!

Information Friday

Happy 66th Anniversary to my mom and dad! They are seen here at 17 and 20 years old with their mothers, my grandmothers. Tim and I are going out to dinner with them tonight to celebrate!

This week leading to the wedding will be full of family and friends, and potato salad making, and floral arranging! I'm very excited!

So Tulsi Gabbard the DNI put out a bombshell statement last Friday regarding Obama and his administration putting out false information about Trump colluding with Russia. As we all know, this was used to hinder and distract Trump and his administration.

Trump spent a lot of time on Monday while the press was in the oval office, talking about this.

I felt like he was trying to bait Obama, to get them to make a statement. Which they did.

Former President Barack Obama has released a rare statement on “Russia-gate” after President Donald Trump accused him of committing “treason.”

“These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction,” Obama spokesperson Patrick Rodenbush said in a statement published by multiple outlets Tuesday.

“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response,” Rodenbush said. “But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one.”

“These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction. Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes,” he added.

Rodenbush also mentioned the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee’s 2020 report that found Russia used resources, including Republican political operative Paul Manafort and the WikiLeaks website, to try to influence the 2016 election in Trump’s favor. The report did not conclude the Trump campaign engaged with Russia to help carry out the alleged conspiracy.

Then Tulsi dropped this information which refuted the Obama statement.

And it had information about Russia having info on Hillary Clinton.

We dodged a bullet on Hillary! Can you imagine if she had won that election in 2016?

The media ran with this story instead of demanding that the administration provide proof of Trump's collusion.

I believe that now that this administration is exposing it, agents who saw what was happening are willing to talk about it.

I don't know if they can get Hillary and Obama. Glenn Beck lays it out in this video.

However I don't think Brennan is going to go down without a fight or possibly without taking Obama with him. We'll see.

There are those who say that the Supreme Court's immunity ruling means that a president can get away with anything during their administration. That is not true. The immunity doesn't have to do with crime committed or breaking the Constitution. It has to do with decisions made, such as going to war, that some might want to prosecute them for after their time in office.

Now to other news of the week!

Have an excellent weekend friends!

Weekend

One of my favorite things this time of year is Amish roadside stands with eggs, produce, and flowers!

Tim stops regularly and buys a lovely bouquet. They are inexpensive compared to stores, and they are usually fresh from the garden!

This one is full of Lisianthus and Zinnas!

We had a good weekend.

On Saturday I cleaned our guest room (Sarah's old bedroom), and got it ready for guests who will be staying with us for the wedding. In the middle of that Tim came in and said that Wes was going to come stay over night.

Wes, our son in law, was leaving their house to the girls for Sarah's bachelorette weekend. The girls went downtown to a bead place and made bracelets and then went to a fancy restaurant for dinner. They spent the rest of the weekend swimming in their pool, watching movies, and eating.

Wes helped Tim trim up some trees on our property and Kyle managed the burn pile.

I made nachos for dinner, and we had a relaxed evening.

Sunday after church, we took our little grand girls to a local McDonalds that has a huge play place. They had a blast! My parents met us there and had lunch with us, too.

In the evening we went to a gathering with the couple who've been doing Sarah and Dave's premarital counseling, Dave's parents, and Sarah and Dave. This is a time for us to answer questions, about our own marriages, to give unsolicited advice to the couple, and to encourage them. It was a sweet time.

Today they are getting their marriage license and the count down is on!

I ordered dresses for our grand girlies - matching ones - for Isla, Klaire, Kaidence, Stella, and Kennedy! They are so cute!

They're going to be so cute!

Next week will be busy with family arriving, so I don't know if I'll get to post much, but I'll try! I'm trying to get lots of photos, too!

I hope you are all well!

Information Friday

Happy Friday, Friends!

It's been another crazy week in American politics. So many people have struggled with Bondi and then Trump brushing the Epstein stuff off as a "hoax," and I took a few days off for a break.

I have learned with Trump to not react right away. To stop and think, and to wait. I was proven right with the Iran situation, to pause and trust that Trump would not get us into war, etc.

So with the Epstein issue, I wondered what might be going on. Then Trump posted about the former FBI and others who had corrupted the Epstein files. It started to come together, and I read a few posts that made a lot of sense.

Trump posted this yesterday.

Then Pam Bondi responded.

Ahhh. So one thing I noticed was that Trump seemed to be baiting the left to call for the Epstein files to be released. Never mind that they had control of the files for years and acted like they didn't exist, and that they potentially messed with the files. (deleting, adding) They hate Trump so much that if he starts saying "There's nothing here." They will go the extra mile to prove him wrong! Often to their own harm!

Late last night I saw these posts from Anna Paulina Luna.

She responded to Pam Bondi!

Then this!

Friends, I am gobsmacked! That man standing next to Trump is Eric Swalwell! WHAT?!

Let's see what happens!

Never, ever underestimate Trump. Just like the distraction of B2 bombers headed to Guam, while the real bombers headed the other direction. Trump thinks outside the box!

I also believe that this is tied to the perpetrators of the Russia Collusion hoax, and other crimes against humanity.

Buckle Up!

The left is so worried that the Wall Street Journal a "conservative" newspaper ran with a story that was false, even after being warned about it being false.

Here are some other news items from the week!

Have an excellent weekend, Friends!

Morning View

Every morning I see this beautiful view! My limelight hydrangea out of my bedroom windows! What I don't normally see is the screen on ...
