Kyle Helps Dad With A Project

Where Tim works, they get a lot of parts and machinery shipped in on pallets.  Then the company throws the pallets in the trash.  With permission from your supervisor, you can take the items from the dumpster!

His new project is storage shelves for the shop in the basement.  We are in need of a lot of new storage!  We are moving things out of the shop that were stored in there and never used, so we are clearing them out.

Kyle, age 5, loves to help his dad, and to hang out with him.  Tim taught him to use the crowbar to pull the nails out of the wood.

He showed me how he did it, pulling the nails and putting them into the empty paint can.  He said "It's easy!"  Then he climbed on his bike and took a ride!

Here is much of the wood that has been salvaged.  To be fair, Kayleigh, Rachel and Sarah all helped Tim today as well.

There is much more to do, but it is such a blessing to be able to get this good wood for free!

It shows that they're never too young to learn to help. He looks so cute. What a blessing to get all that wood too :-)
Blessings,
Marcia

Awesome, Mrs. R! We're not much woodworkers here, but my daddy-in-law can built stuff, and he's always recycling just like this to make useful things -- a bench or a table for the shelter house outside!
Blessings,
Mary Lou
