Tuesday into Wednesday we are expecting snow. We are having a real winter here in Pennsylvania, though I have enjoyed the last few winters which were milder and had very little snow. I prefer that.
However, I have decide to embrace wintering.
For me this means -
Making tea or hot chocolate and settling in with a good book.
Starting a nice diffuser blend to help my house smell good.
Cooking hot and nutritious meals, to keep us warm from the inside out!
Making my home cozy. We are all still missing the garlands and lights of Christmas, and I am thinking of ways to bring a bit of that special feeling back.
I may knit a bit more this winter.
I've been enjoying some British TV Mysteries.
Well, I am going to go make my bed and eat some breakfast. I think today I may have sliced peaches and cottage cheese!
I still have my cold and I may take a nap later. I hate the thought of it, but I do need more rest than I am getting at night.
I hope you are all well, and enjoying your winter where ever you are!
I'm beginning to think about my garden, too! It won't be long now!

I've been keeping up with the weather and it sure looks like you all are in for a lot more Winter. You have a list of great things to help make the Winter months more tolerable...I mean, when Hot tea and Hot chocolate, plus a book is involved, this means comfort and fun. Stay warm and stay well....Happy Monday..
Hope you're over your cold soon! I love settling in with a cup of hot tea and a book at home in the winter.
Oh no! I hope you are feeling 100% soon. We are getting a good dose of winter here, too. I've been doing a lot of the same...and right now I'm eating homemade chicken and noodle soup. Yum!
You might as well embrace it. What are the alternatives? At least you know, it will eventually be behind you!
Hot cocoa and a warm home sounds good to me. Enjoy.

I love "at home" days in winter, but I don't have as many of those as I used to. I hope you're all set for this day of wintry weather and that you're feeling more on the mend!
Can't wait for warmer temps...Your days sound wonderful!
hugs
