Duet

I haven't sung as part of a group or solo for many years.  Sarah suggested that we sing Mary Did You Know at our Christmas Eve Service.  I agreed and then had a lot of work to do.  Vocal muscles were lazy, and I needed work (and still do) with strengthening them and increasing my breath control.

Sarah, who is 14, is growing in vocal ability and loves to sing.  It was fun to do this with her.

Someone asked if I would share it and so I am going to be bold and just do it.  It's not perfect but it turned out just fine.

  6. This is a fun story or, at least I hope you'll think so. I was visiting here this morning and saw the black square for a video so thought that I would have to fire up the PC later. I did, just for snickers, press the black square. Then I closed up the ipad and wandered off to do dishes, etc. About five minutes later, I heard beautiful singing and wondered where it was coming from as I didn't remember turning on the radio. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the black square had fired up and there you and Sarah were. It was lovely and I enjoyed listening.
