Friday Five - Ornaments

I use the same ornaments every year, mostly.  Some years, like this one, I don't put all the ornaments I have on the tree.  We left off glittery snowflakes, and some other white sparkly ornaments.  It all depends on my mood, and if the people helping me have reached their end of helping (if you know what I mean!).

The following ornaments will always be on my tree.

Some are elegant, some are homey, some bring memories of an amazing trip.  But they all have a place on my tree, and always will.

What about you? Do you have a themed tree?  Certain colors you use, homemade ornaments?  I'd love to hear about it in the comments!

Seldom do I have a themed tree. One year, being so tired and alone, I had a poinsettia tree. That's as close to themed as I have ever been. You and I have some similar ornaments. My tree is up and needing fluffing. That'll probably take a few days. Ha!

Love these precious ornaments!

For years and years, we had a big tree, which we went out and cut down. Naturally, these trees had a lot of ornaments on them.

When we no longer went out and got a tree, we switched to artificial trees, but still large.

For some time, we have had a smaller artificial tree, and less decorations yet, are needed. But we are still using the Topper Angel, we have had for some time.

So I have culled a lot, over time. And what we now use, go up each year. And guess, we don't still have long ago special ones. I believe in getting rid of excess everything, you see. >,-)))))))

Will picture our tree soon....

We just put up our tree today - it's a real one and smells so wonderful. No theme, just memories with the variety of ornaments.

My tree has looked the same for the last few years, just sparkly gold balls and gold poinsettias. My precious ornaments were always added by the grandkids. Autumn says she is bringing the little ones this week and I will let them add those special ornaments:) It was a tradition when the grandkids were little and as they got older, didn't make it here to add them so they stayed in the tub. Hopefully this week:) Enjoy your dear friend, HUGS!
