Ah, it was such a good wedding planning meeting yesterday.
This couple are very simple in their tastes. The brides likes a boho style, and she doesn't like a lot of fuss. The groom is on staff at their church, the bride does a lot of volunteer work there and they are used to being the ones serving behind the scenes, and not the center of attention. So thinking of their wedding they are about making it nice for the guests. I kept saying, "People are only coming to the wedding to see them get married!" (grin)
Here are some of the lovely plans.
For bridal flowers the bride wants mostly greens.
Long tables for the reception with cream tablecloths, a taupe runner and some greens, no flowers, and taper candles. The holders are all being thrifted and will be different.

Here are her bridesmaids colors.
Rachel is a bridesmaid, the only one who is not a sister or sister in law of the bride and groom. She is wearing the olive color.
I found this photo on Pinterest, and it is most of the colors just not the olive tone.
Of course their flowers won't look like that nor will the dresses. The girls get to choose their own.
The groom and groomsmen are wearing suits, they don't want boutonnières, and there may not be any corsages.
The wedding is planned for outdoors, May 14th, and the reception is in a big tent the church is using while they have construction on their building. We are praying for perfect weather!
I get the privilege of coordinating the big day, so the moms can relax and not worry. I love making sure all the details are just right. I also get to do the wedding flowers. Fun for me.
It's going to be lovely.

I know it is going to be a beautiful wedding, for two reasons, Dear friend, You are coordinating everything, and the color scheme has all my favorite colors! ~smile~ Congratulations and best wishes to the bride and groom, thank you for sharing,
just visited several of your posts enjoyed them so much, I think a home should say, "welcome", "sit", and "stay" for a while, and your home is so warm, cozy beautiful and inviting!
Good luck to Kyle with the job hunting, His work ethic must come from two loving parents!.
As far as the anonymous commenter, I find there are some who are so unhappy with their lives, they think it is their job to halt others from living their lives to the fullest!
Have a great week,
Sue
