By the end of August it will be dark here by 7:00 pm! Wow!
We had a quiet weekend. Which was lovely.
I sent Sarah and Dave a Happy One Week Anniversary text! That week went by fast! Just like life!
Everyday we have the chance to live the life God has for us this day. We make our plans but God directs our steps. So when we have those days that don't go to plan, let's remember that God knows and let's lean into Him for direction.
Our days have been mild this past week, and the evenings cool, and it feels like Autumn, but it's only August so I know we will be heating up again. In fact, just looking at AccuWeather shows that next week will be hot and humid! But down into the 60's overnight.
Meteorological Autumn begins September 1st, and astronomic Autumn begins September 22nd. I go by meteorological Autumn, which is easier. September, October, November are the Autumn months. Otherwise you have Autumn running until nearly Christmas!
Anyway.
I hope you had a lovely weekend.

Beautiful hydrangea! It took me kind of by surprise the other day, to realize that the nights are already drawing in. I'm so ready for fall, but here in Texas it will be hot until the end of September!
I had no idea how much light we've lost! Since I can't drive in the dark any more this is good to know. I go with fall starting September first!!
It certainly is a lovely view Deanna..I just love limelight hydrangeas and have so enjoyed the one I have been growing this summer....You will see signs of fall before we will and I hope you enjoy every minute of this beautiful time of year!
Time is certainly flying by!
Your hydrangeas are Gorgeous!!!
hugs
Donna
Wow, we lose so much sunlight in August! I don't know why I'm so surprised, I can see it fade a little earlier every day. Love your hydrangeas! They are stunning!
