Garden Photos

We went to Longwood Gardens on Saturday.  We spent most of our time indoors because of the drizzling rain.

I adore this garden walk.

The bronze cranes...

Beautiful roses...

Star Jasmine...

Gorgeous peonies....

Oh wait!  These are my peonies!

They are almost fully open!  I love these flowers.  This kind gets large and smell like old fashioned roses!  I wish I knew the name of this one.

They make me so happy!

  1. I stopped and thought to myself that those looked like yours...and that fence was like yours. Glad to know that I wasn't losing my mind...well, not all of it anyway.

Mikey had a good interview...now we wait!

  2. Peonies! They don't grow where I am so I'll have to live vicariously through you, MrsRabe, and enjoy their beauty. ;o)

Longwood appears to be a place where hushed voices from simple awe are present, where meandering pathways to vignettes of garden space surprise the eye and touch the soul. When I visit...and I will...we must go there!

Candy for the eyes and soul. Flowers minister to me in a way that nothing else does.
    Thanks for sharing!
    Love you,
