Homemade Spelt Bread

I bought a loaf of spelt bread a few weeks ago.  It was delicious, but expensive.  Spelt is a grain that is easily digestible and is good for you.  I decided to try to make some of this bread yesterday.  I looked on line and found the recipe that I used.  The recipe is on a website called The New Homemaker.  The only change I made to the recipe was that instead of all 6 cups of flour being spelt, I did 4 cups of spelt and 2 cups of regular flour.  It turned out great and as you can see we have already devoured a loaf for evening snack and now for breakfast.

For breakfast I made a pot of hot chocolate and had two slices of bread with Fuzzy Navel Jam.  Delicious!  The jam is from Mama's Fixin's.

I just got notice that I have used up all my space for photos on this blog...I can purchase more, but I think I will just do a new blog, leaving this one up for archives and put a link on the sidebar of the new one.  Well, that is not something I planned to do for today, but I will try to get it done.  I don't think I can blog without photos!

That is nice looking bread!
I thought I understood that you were given space by blogger account so I purchased the additional photo space. I could have been wrong.

Wordpress only allows a certain amount of space, also. To fight this, I delete old posts that no longer have revelance, like an announcement or an old life update. Could you do something like that?

What a bummer about the photo space. I never even see a % of what I have left since I went to the new format. Hmmm...

Hmmm, I have some spelt flour I need to use up. Thanks for the link to a good recipe.

How does one determine how much space is left for photos on blogger? Any idea?

Will you email me a link if you decide to go with a new blog? It's tricky for me to keep your page open long enough to click on anything. Thanks!

Information Friday

We had a wonderful wedding weekend in Missouri! We drove, leaving Friday morning and came back on Monday! It was long, but it was worth it...
