Peonies

The peonies were late to bloom this year, but they've been glorious.

I am enjoying them all around the house, sharing them with friends, and while sitting in the garden reading.

I love having plants that allow me to beautify our home, both inside and out.  Don't you?

ps - I am not receiving any comments in my email, so I will be responding to your comments in the comments!

  1. Your peonies are gorgeous! Thanks again for sharing some with us!

(I have not been getting blog comments in my email either. Blogger seems to be making changes faster than I can keep up with. It's a challenge for us non-techie people (speaking for myself). And then last night I learned that NetWorkedBlogs is closing down so my posts won't be automatically posted to Facebook. Blah.)

  8. After seeing these beauties, I cannot wait for ours to open -- they are just forming their buds now. I love that colour. So jewel-like.

  9. They are such a beautiful flower. Last yeat, I had two blooms. This year, I have counted 12 so far. I’m very excited about this. My peonie is a volunteer so anything she does is a gift. Are the irises out?
