A Sneak Peek At My Parent's House

Just a few photos from my parents living room and dining room.

These photos were taken before the walk through by the realtors and there is a few baskets and cords still around. Everything was perfect when the realtors came through and they were very pleased by what we had accomplished in the last several weeks.

They said we had staged it perfectly!

Their windows look out to Amish farmland, and the fields behind them no longer grown corn or soybeans, but the are pastures for horses!

There house is a unique split level house. It has a full lower level, and an attached 2 car garage. So behind these plants is the stairway from the front door. As you come up you can walk straight into the living room or the dining room. From the dining room you turn right into the kitchen and then there is a back stair case to the mudroom with stairs down to the family room, or a door to the garage and a door to the driveway.

I'm going over today and I'll try to get a video of the layout. Bedrooms are to the left down the hall, along with the bathroom which houses the laundry in a closet space.

The dining room is large and has beautiful wainscoating.

Photos today, including some drone shots (which my dad is thrilled about) and then the house should be listed Thursday or Friday.

Now the work will begin here, moving bedrooms around and clearing the rooms my parents will use. We appreciate your prayers and good thoughts!

A big change coming for all of you. It's very good to honor your parents as you are doing. Praying right now that everything goes well for them and for your family. It looks like a home that should sell.

It's looking good. I hope it sells quickly. It's a lot of work to get a house ready for sale.

Information Friday

We had a wonderful wedding weekend in Missouri! We drove, leaving Friday morning and came back on Monday! It was long, but it was worth it...
