Home Keeping

We've been doing a bit of this...I made a skirt for me, a pair of pillowcases, worked on Lindsay's dress, and we started the vest last evening!
I always do this!  I am almost done with my first Miss Read book.  I also am reading one of Laura Childs Tea Shop Mysteries.  It is a library book and right now I can't find it!  Oh, help me!  I must find this book, I want to finish it!

We are always cooking.  Always.  This week though we must finish up some left overs!

Tomorrow is Laundry Day!  We do a bit of laundry every day but having a "laundry day" helps us to keep on top of it!

I continue in my decluttering.  I am having a great success with this and am very happy!  Why do we need so much stuff?

We have water running in our creek again!  We are so happy. It just isn't Creekside Cottage without the creek!

I am looking for different curtains for my living room for spring and summer.  I have lovely red velvet curtains in there and have for several years.  But I want to lighten up for the summer.  With our yellow walls and white trim it is lovely and I want something fresh.  Any ideas?

I just love home keeping.  What is your favorite thing about caring for your home?

Well, I think white curtains would be lovely or maybe blue. As for my favorite thing about homekeeping I am not sure. With being in transition since moving from my Little Blue Cottage I've been tossed. I can say that laundry, dishes, straightening up the kitchen and cooking have been stabilizing tasks for me.

Although learning never ends, my twins will be finished with school in May. I have been putting off sewing projects for years because I hate the daily packing everything up for needed space for school. When I sew, I like to be able to spread out! :)

My favorite part of housework is the end of the day tidy up. I seriously have a hard time sleeping if things are not put away. Waking up to an organized home helps me stay organized in my head. (I might need a support group LOL!) Have a great week, Mrs. Rabe.

My favorite part of housekeeping is seeing the beauty after cleaning all of the clutter. I gives me a sense of accomplishment.

I was thinking white eyelet curtains wafting in the breeze would be so pretty for Spring and Summer.

Have a great day today. Maybe I'll see you later......

I too, think white eyelet curtains might be lovely in a summer breeze! I love homekeeping too! So many joys!

May it be a blessed day of joyful homemaking for you!

Sounds like you got a lot of sewing done! I really need to learn. Will you be my teacher?

I wld say my favorite time of day is when Hubby walks in the door to a straighten up house, dinner is ready and the kids (13 & (16) are just as happy to see him as I am.

Blessings to all,
