My Weekend

was filled with normal activity...peaches pureed being made into jam..

Emily and I in the kitchen...

It turned out really well...Kyle said it tasted really good.  I also fixed a skirt of Emily's and finished Lindsay's dress.  I didn't get any photos, but I will soon.

It is based on her Eowyn dress and turned out really well.  I had to make facing for the neck as we modified the pattern, and it turned out great!  She wore it today and it looks great on her, she really likes it too.

This evening the girls took the kids to see the Winnie the Pooh movie and then for a treat at Mickey D's.  Tim was working so I watched a documentary on Arlington National Cemetery on Netflix.  It is available on instant play and I highly recommend it.  While watching I started a new winter hat for Lindsay.  This is a pretty rosy, moss green yarn.  Very soft.

Monday we are going to get a coat of polyurethane on the table and then we are headed out to a local park with a wonderful creek.  In the evening, Becky and I are headed to a local Christian bookstore to see Lovella from Mennonite Girls Can Cook.  Our blogging friend Vee from A Haven For Vee encouraged us to go - so we are going!  It should be fun....
