Good Morning...

Spending a day mostly at home today!

I do have to run into our shoppe and work on some Christmas decor.  We have people shopping for Christmas gifts and the Autumn decor seems out of place - so we are going to go with it and put up the Christmas stuff.  Probably a bit by bit but Autumn is coming down today.

Tim's sister and her family are coming from Missouri on Monday and will be here most of the week.  It's going to be fun to see them, then the following week, his other sister will be here a few days along with her husband.  They are headed from Florida to New York for Thanksgiving with her mother in law on the farm.  We are excited to see them both!

Crazy as it seems, with company this week and next, the following week is Thanksgiving!  Then it is full swing Christmas!

So, with tomorrow being Sunday and a very full day, I must get to my clutter in my bedroom TODAY!  Some of the clutter is Christmas stuff for the shoppe so that will be easy to declutter.  The rest of my clutter are items needing a home rather than the top of my dresser or desk.

Would you mind praying that the weather here will get sunny today?  My husband needs to finish painting the trailer he is rehabbing - it's supposed to be partly sunny and hover in the upper 40's but if it gets fully sunny the temperature will increase too, and be just fine for painting.  That's what needs to get done today!  It would be such an encouragement to him. It looks as if we may get another Nor'easter this next week!  Thank you for praying for this!

Now the big question...what are you doing this first Saturday in November?

Mr. T has his first day off on a weekend in months, in fact I can't even remember when this happened before so we are going to hit every thrift store, antique store and indoor flea market in the tristate area. LOL.

Other than lamenting the fact that we washed windows prematurely and now should do it all over again... I think it's cleaning day here, too. The fun stuff like litter boxes and bathing the dog. Ugh. Aren't you glad that you asked? As far as I can tell, it would be far better for that Nor'easter to never materialize. So many hurting people. I've taken to reminding God (right) what will the heathen say?

This first Saturday in November, I, too, am at home. All day. (Cue contented sigh...) We are getting ready for a busy weekend...hosting a soup supper for our church fellowship this evening, and a family birthday party for Kati tomorrow afternoon.

I know what you mean about heading into Christmas. But autumn just started, didn't it? And it'll be January before we turn around! Ack!!
