Tea Time

Tonight is the Ladies Tea at church.

I love throwing a good tea party.  My friend Amy has been helping me and I tell you she is just the person I need to keep me organized and on track!  I am thankful for her!

We were in the Big City yesterday and that trip went really well, with the exception of a vendor we buy from.  Gone!  The store has been remodeled and everything!  Just like that, no notice or anything.  I am hoping that they just relocated the store location because we get quite a few things from them!

This week has been one of stuffing feelings down too.  Dear friends have moved to New York for work and we are so happy for them to have this opportunity, but I am grieving them being gone.

Also, Lindsay's dog is dying.  We are going to have to make the decision soon, to have her put down.  I just keep asking the Lord to allow her to go in her sleep.  She's been a good and faithful dog.  We're all grieving this already too.

So lots going on, and some hard things too, but God is good and this is why He sent His son Jesus!  We needed a Savior so desperately!

Talk to you tomorrow and I'll try to have lots of photos!

So sorry about Sam. She's such a dear dog.
Guess you'll have to plan a trip to NY...just for a visit, though....It is so pretty up there. You'll love it.

Oh, I am sitting here with red hot tears flowing. We had Molly to the vet on Saturday and he thinks "it is time." I choked and sputtered and said I'd like to hang on through Christmas. We'll see. She seems to be rebounding a bit with meds. So my heart knows a little of what you are dealing with Lindsay's beloved pet.

It's crazy the businesses that are here one day and gone the next. Worse. It's scary.

How wonderful for your friends that work was found. Hope that the road between you is not long.

Happy Tea Time! I hope that all you ladies are blessed with delicious tea and treats and fellowship.

Huggss to Lindsey. Losing a pet is just so difficult. But remembering the fun and love they had together will be with her always.
A tea party sounds like such fun. I have only been to one but LOVED it. I have just been so busy lately and have missed visiting. I hope the season is joyous for you and your family.
Your friend,
Brenda

I love a ladies' tea. It's one of my favorite things to do, in fact.

I'm sorry about your dog and the friends moving away. You are so right that at this time of year, though, we remember that we all have great reason to celebrate.

Happy Christmas Adam!
