Prayer Request

Friends, I am sick!

My throat started to hurt on Saturday - no big deal - I used my normal things to fight off sickness, and they usually work.  By later in the day, I was chilled and feeling bad.  I missed church and our special program yesterday.

I did go in the clinic associated with our doctor's office, yesterday and he put me on an antibiotic.  My tonsils are gunky.  I've taken three doses of antibiotic and still don't feel much better.  This is a busy week for us.  I have some gifts to wrap, too!

Please pray that the antibiotic will kick in soon and that I will feel much, much better.

I'm trying to rest in what the Lord has allowed for me, and to literally rest, but I am not sleeping well.

Thank you all!

Deanna

So, so sorry. You aren't the only one dealing with this sickness at Christmas, not that that is any comfort. Thankfully we had ours last week. Will pray for you to feel lots better by tomorrow.

Praying for your restoration to good health as soon as possible. Look for God in the interruptions and employ your elves to help as I know that they will love that. So glad that you caught it soon. Plenty of rest for you! He is WITH you...

Thanks Farrah! That's one of the first things I do! I'm resting tonight, missing out on seeing the Hobbit with my family, but with my husbands' birthday, Christmas, New Years, my daughter's birthday, our 27th anniversary on January 2nd, there is too much fun going on to be sick!

Thankful for the prayers!

Thank you so much Lorrie! I believe that it has really helped - not very long after I asked for prayer, my throat started to feel better! I'm still wiped out but that will come in time!

Merriest of Christmases to you!

Deanna

I stayed home from the Hobbit to rest tonight. Lots of big doings going on this week and next! The upside of being sick is I dropped a few more pounds than expect! I am thankful for HIM and for all my friend whom are praying for me! I am blessed!

Thank you Dotsie! I feel bad for everyone sick right now. I know that my illness is not grave like some people may be struggling with. I'm praying peace for them and to KNOW that HE is with them!

I have been praying for you! Lots of people around me have been sick, this cold and damp weather doesn't help. So praying not to get sick with so much to do. I felt myself getting stressed today so I shortened the To Do list for Monday.

Many hugs!

Deuteronomy 33:25: "Your castles and strongholds shall have bars of iron and bronze, and as your day, so shall your strength, your rest and security, be." From your replies, I'm happy to see that strength is returning...I'll pray for that to continue and know that God will match your strength, rest and security to HIS plans for you each day♥

Information Friday

We had a wonderful wedding weekend in Missouri! We drove, leaving Friday morning and came back on Monday! It was long, but it was worth it...
