When You Don't Know What To Say, Let Your Writer Friends Say It For You

My friends are such good writers.  Many of them communicate so clearly what is on my heart as well, but they say it better than I do.

Brenda at Coffee, Tea, Books and Me (great blog!) posted Sunday "Let Your Light Shine." This is where my heart is, too!

Sarah Clarkson - a friend of friends of mine wrote a great piece that spoke to similar themes and I found myself saying Yes! to her written words. Death & Glory

Where we are as a nation, and as a world in chaos, is a result of not knowing God.  Our eyes are blinded to truth.

I have been encouraged by the words of Longfellow and his 'I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day.'  The last verse especially -

"Then rang the bells more loud and deep

God is not dead, nor doth He sleep

The wrong shall fail, the right prevail

With peace on earth, good will to men'

God is not dead, nor doth He sleep.  That is our hope and our keeping.  One Day, all will be put right.

"I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" is my favorite Christmas carol! Very powerful words.

And I so agree with you. Our nation---and our world---have turned their backs on God and His Ways. We are reaping the consequences of doing our own thing.

Blessings,
Patti

Information Friday
