Some Blogs And Instagrammers I'm Following

Style At A Certain Age - Beth Djalali

I found Beth on Pinterest while looking for clothes for women over 40.  I like her style, its very doable for an ordinary woman.  She also has a youtube channel here.

The Lettered Cottage - Layla Palmer

This gal is so adorable.  She and her husband have a darling son from Haiti, and they live in a sweet community where they drive a golf cart around town!  She talks clothes, home design, and life.

I adore her Insta-Stories!

So many of my longtime blogging friends are not blogging much these days, so I've branched out.

A gal I've been following for a few years is Courtney from French Country Cottage.  Courtney has a romantic style to her cottage design and recently announced that she is the new editor of Romantic Homes Magazine!

I hope you'll check these gals out both on their blogs and on Instagram.

I had a crazy day, and then hosted 9 people for our Mexican food dinner for ladies from my church.  I ran out to do some errands this morning and my battery died.  Thankfully Tim was between jobs and was able to get a new battery, and install it.  The nice thing is that we were able to have lunch together.   I'm really tired tonight/early morning and am headed to bed!

Hair cut later today!  Hurray!

Will check to know more about the dress. It would have been a good time having dinner together with all:)

Thanks for sharing these links. I too have noticed a decrease in blogging activity. Including my own! But I'm starting up again, trying to find my 'voice'. I've read CoffeeTeaBoos and Me for years and only recently started clicking on her sidebar links. That is how I found you! Hoping to read more -I like what I see!

I have seen less and less of some good friends lately, too. I have also been posting less myself and catching up less frequently. In my case I can blame it on summer...and hopefully get back to it all soon.

Like you I have seen less and less blogging, myself included, but I am slowly trying to change that. Instagram is so much easier, but to me blogging is so much more personable, I do enjoy being invited into the homes of my friends here in blogland !vThanks for introducing thesis ladies, I will check them out.
Blessings,
Sue

I'm on the lookout for new bloggers, too, and have found a few. It's fun to see what others are reading.

I'm familiar with the first two! I started following Layla years ago when Amber first started blogging. Thanks for the reminders of these two!

Layla is a stitch. She's so real and I love the community where she lives and how the school is local. I'll check out some of the others you follow. It's true that quite a few have stopped or slowed way down (that's me).

I am also one of those bloggers who has slowed down! Life is busy these days and I am s-l-o-w. My thought is to do more frequent but shorter posts, but we'll see how that goes.

Honestly, I am not searching for new blogs to read, because I can hardly keep up with commenting on the old ones. (Again, s-l-o-w me . . . and limited brain power when I do have time! If I can't leave a thoughtful comment, I'd rather not leave one.) Sigh.

Christmas This And That

Hello Friends! I hope you are all well. Christmas is only seven days away now! This season is flying by, as it always does. I have a few...
