Well, it's the week between and things are a bit cluttered and untidy in some spots in the house. It'll only take a few minutes to clean these areas up, and head into the New Year with a refreshed house.
The last photo is a notorious spot for clutter in our house. Business papers, stuff people left here, keys, remotes for lights and battery candles, cookies, muffins, and other treats waiting to be eaten. Sigh.
I have some clothes of Tim's to hang, a bag of clothes that no longer fit Kyle to go to the thrift store, a dresser we had loaned to Lindsay and Joseph to find a new home for, too. Its standing in the middle of my bedroom right now. Sigh.
At least the poinsettia is looking nice!

We are in transition here too. I think I will actually get around to taking the Christmas kitchens down today. Wishing you a beautiful Happy New New Year.
We got our last necessities, for New Year's Eve too. Nothing fancy.
We can't drink so I got sparkling apple juice, from France! lol
He will make his marinated roasted peppers, which go on a cracker, with Brie cheese. Deeelicious...
Grapes...
Chips and Dip...
Simple but most of these things, are only for a special occasion. -smile-

OH I am in the same spot, needing to tidy things up. My tree still has many gifts under it to deliver and when they are all gone, we will take the tree down. The rest of the decorations will be taken down then. It is a bit cluttery here but soon it will be cleared and the New Year can officially begin:) Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
Have fun with it! I'm doing the 15-minute timer thing to slog through the cleaning up. Have a blessed New Year's Eve!
