You Will Never Believe This...

Today we were having a Tornado Warning and I knew that Tim was on his way home and may not be aware. I called him on his cell and he said to me "I was just rear ended!"

Oh. My. Goodness.

I just couldn't believe it. We just got our van a week ago. We are still awaiting the truck that Tim is buying. We have been just a one car family since his van was hit in the city a few weeks ago.

The damage is likely repairable - the back window is shattered and there is a nice dent in the back door.

We need this fixed quickly! The other persons' insurance will reimburse us for a rental, but we have to pay out of pocket up front, if we choose to get a rental. Which we will likely need to...

The adventures continue.....

  1. Oh my, what a mess. I am sure that you are thankful that just the car got hurt (again!).

  2. Tell them you cannot pay up front and that they will have to be billed. You need a car and since they are going to pay they can do this. I would make an appeal!!

  4. I came across your blog while surfing another. On the 10th our van was sandwiched and totaled because we were rear-ended in a construction zone just south of Williamsport, Pa. The other insurance company is paying our rental until the 27th. That will give us time to replace our vehicle. The problem we ran into was the other person's insurance company is claiming a lot of the damage on our van existed before the accident. It didn't, but we can't prove that and are stuck with a lower pay out on it. Oh well, God is in control and will provide. Isn't He amazing!!! We can rejoice in Him in all circumstances!!!

  8. OH NO! I'm so glad he's okay! What a pain, though! Eek! Praying for everything to be fixed cheaply and smoothly, mama.

  9. How awful! Praise God that Tim was, once again, protected.
