Note Card Party/Christmas Decor 2012

We are celebrating the Light of the world, and keeping Christmas, to remind ourselves of the Reason for the season, and the need we had for His coming.

One way I am doing this is by joining Vee's Note Card Party!

The centerpiece of all our decor every year is our tree!  I love it!

My granddaughter Kamryn loves to play in this arrangement.  She takes out the bells, puts them back...today she, Kyle and my Mom were all ringing them and singing Jingle Bells!

This is one of my favorite spaces to decorate every year.  Our new kitty liked it too, until the girls used a bit of citrus on the greens and that keeps him from laying in the middle of it all and knocking everything around!

Thanks Vee, for hosting again.  I am headed now to look at all your photos!

Merry Christmas to you!

Sweetness all around...
(Citrus? Really? Because my cat is trying to eat a fake tree and that's really not good.) I loved the story of everyone playing with the jingle bells...what a happy scene! We needed Him them and we need Him today. How grateful I am that He was willing to come to this earth to be with us. The story never grows old; the reality never does either.

Merry Christmas, Rabes!

The soft light of each of your note cards makes them appealing and they would be nice to send to friends.

Beautiful pictures. The lighting sets off the warm, cozy and inviting feel.
Silly kitty. The little lights are a beautiful way to highlight the Nativity scene. The tree is lovely and the arrangements.

These are all such beautiful images for Note Cards Mrs Rabe!
My favourite has to be the first one of your lovely Nativity crib - after all the Nativity is the centre of Christmas.
It's not really about 'the presents' but "His Presence" as you said.
I'm now following your lovely blog!
Do pop over and see me too when you get a minute!
Christmas Blessings to everyone in your house
Shane
