31 Days - Friendship Celebrated

I will write more about friendship through the seasons of life in a later post, but today I just want to CeLeBRaTe  friendship and the gift that it is.

Two years ago during the month of October, I found Cheryl's blog Thinking About Home when she was posting about {31 Days to Make a House a Home} which you can find in her archives for October of 2011.

I knew I had found a friend and a kindred spirit.   This week we've had the blessing of having them in our home for a two day visit!  We've laughed and talked and eaten and shopped!  Our kids have had fun together too.

Took them all to my favorite store Fresh Vintage in Strasburg, PA

Sarah and Bekah in their adorable vintage aprons!

I love Cheryl and her precious family!  This friendship makes this season of my life richer and I am thankful for it!

  2. I am just stopping by right now as I sit and take a breath. I'm going to come back at lunch as see what seasonal wisdom you have been sharing since I have been here last. I do love the theme and have yet to leave here without nodding my head.

As for a real life visit from a blog friend? I think that is the nicest thing I can imagine. I think we find kindred souls through things like blogs because it's our HEARTS that we share and not the superficial stuff. Hope that makes sense.
