2Cellos

Rachel is a cellist and really likes the group 2 Cellos.  These guys are really amazing, and we enjoy listening to them.

They were going to be in concert, and Rachel kept mentioning that she'd love to go.  I thought that maybe I could take her as part of a late birthday gift, but then I thought that maybe Tim could take her.

I get to spend lots of time with Rachel and we are going to see Rend Collective next month.  Tim works so hard and doesn't take much time off and I knew it would be very special for them to go together.

So they did.

To say they had a good time would be an understatement.

Here is a video of 2Cellos playing Gabriel's Oboe from The Mission.

  2. I couldn't get the video to play, but the smiles on those faces communicates the joy! What a special night it must have been!

  3. Deanna, I've seen these guys on YouTube and thought how theirs is a concert I'd definitely like to attend! Love the cello. Would have chosen it in middle school, but the flute was easier for a skinny little girl to carry! :D

  4. I enjoyed the mini concert--beautiful. My dad played the cello and we found a cellist to play in the background for the visitation before his memorial service.

  7. There is nothing like a dad making memories with his children. This music is just beautiful and how special that they went together. My sons had, and still have, musical taste that my husband does not share at all, but the times he attended concerts or other events with them are truly priceless to him.
