Welcome September!

Meteorological autumn starts today!  You can read about that here.  It makes perfect sense to me.

We are about two weeks ahead I think in the leaves changing.  I see it everywhere.

The Amish are harvesting tobacco, and even a bit of field corn (which is used for animal feed).

Its been a lovely summer, but I am ready for autumn!

Melissa from The Inspired Room has created a cute video for all us fall loving people!

Happy September, friends!

  2. The photos are beautiful Deanna, I also enjoyed the cute video! Yes I am ready for fall too! Autumn is my favorite season, with Christmas being my favorite holiday, I love the fact that they come back to back!
I am almost finished with my fall decorating, I think this is the earliest I have ever decorated, though it was hard at times for me this week, seeing all of the devastation in Texas! Thank you for sharing.
Have a blessed Labor Day weekend!

    1. Some do use tobacco, but mainly it is a big cash crop for them. Some tobacco is used for nicotine patches, and other things, so I guess they have no issues with it.
