Wedding Photos

For this wedding I did the floral work as well as the job of wedding planner/coordinator.  It was a lot of logistical work this time, because of the wedding being on a Sunday, and due to the reception being held at a different church than the wedding service.  Oh, and we could not get into either facility until 12:00pm!

A week out, I wondered how we were going to accomplish it, but on the day of the wedding I had total peace and knew we could "do this thing!"

The bride loves daisies, and wanted lavender, and white roses.  She had an inspiration photo that didn't include the daisies, but that was her main flower that she wanted!  So, I came up with this arrangement of white spray roses, a spray mum that looks like a daisy but holds up better than a daisy, lavender, feverfew (look like mini daisies), gunni eucalyptus, rosemary, baby's breath, and plumosa fern.

Here is a fuller view of her bouquet.  The bridesmaids had smaller versions of her bouquet with all the same flowers.

Lavender and rosemary for the boutonniers and the grooms, and a white spray rose and baby's breath, too.

A great team of volunteers helped to transform this church lobby into a wonderful reception venue!

Rachel's boyfriend, Wes, transformed this plain tags into amazing table number tags,  by freehand writing of the table numbers!

The bridesmaids, moms, and grandma's all praying for the bride.

Lovely bridesmaids.  Their dresses were beautiful and that teal color was so pretty on each one!

The ring bearers and one of the two flower girls.  All siblings of the groom.  They are all adorable!

They are such a sweet, gentle couple.  It was such a joy to be a part of making their wedding special for them.

A quick shot of some of the tables...

I was so delighted with how everything went.  After we saw the bride and groom off on their honeymoon, we took everything down, put it all away, cleaned and vacuumed, and put the lobby back the way it was before we set up.

I hope to get some of the professional photos and I'll share them with you when I do!  It was an exhausting day, but it was a great day.

  6. What an amazing transformation of that room! The flowers were beautiful. I can tell that a lot of thought went into the bride’s bouquet. Many blessings to the newlyweds and I hope that you have a few quiet days to recoup and regroup.

  7. That bridal bouquet is gorgeous. I carried yellow roses and daisies in a bouquet along with greenery at my wedding and my bridesmaids carried daisies. I always loved the combination of the two flowers. You do such an excellent job, my friend.
