I grew up watching this and had forgotten all about it! I actually have the preamble memorized because of watching this as a kid. Thanks for the great memory.
And it's too bad that they don't have stuff like this on TV anymore, although most young people today (boy don't I sound old saying that?!) would be bored by something simple like this.
School House Rocks really rocks!

Thanks for the blast from the past! I had forgot about this song.
Have a great weekend!
That took me right back to your Political Science class at co-op. Don't think the high schoolers saw that coming! LOL
"Right on!" Great reminder! Have a blessed Sunday!
Deanna! I thought you might live in the area - but it is so spread out! We stayed a block or so away from Ed's cousin - another blogger, too - Jillian at Bella Rosa Antiques. They hadn't seen each other for some time and did a good deal of genealogy talk and old photo albums - plus we spent a day antiquing! We had a much needed respite! HOping to do this more often - so the next time perhaps we could meet up with you! We want to do the Amish village and shops the next time. We are going to the Ren Faire on Oct. 15 with my daughter and a group of friends. Usually do that in a day trip, though. Maybe we could do the overnight and stay into Sunday . . .
Joy!

I let out a little yippee when this was over!! What a memory. I love the School House Rock series. Alas my children just roll their eyes and giggle at me. It was brilliant to include these shorts between morning cartoons. Not only did I learn that bologna has a first name... I learned the preamble to the constitution!! LOVE IT!
Blessings, Debbie
