Autumn Morning

After a week of rain, we are thrilled to see the sunshine!

The sky is so blue this morning, too!

On Saturday (my birthday), we all went to the Kinzer Fire Company monthly breakfast.  It is a fund raising breakfast and is a very popular event.  My dad is a volunteer with this company and gets up very early on the mornings of the breakfasts.  He picks up some of the Amish volunteers, and they get started very early.  Breakfast is from 6-10 am!  We decided we'd support the fire company and enjoy a big family breakfast!

Emma, Kyle, Sarah and Kaitlin (my niece)

Nate, Kyle, my dad Bob, some nice gentlemen, and Tim!  Kyle decided he had to be in the photo with the men too!

 Rachel and my mom, Phyllis.

Kamryn and Kayleigh.

God is so good to me and has blessed me with a big, loving family. We missed Lindsay and Joseph, but Lindsay had a strained leg and needed to work that day so they stayed at home resting.  I saw her yesterday at church and her leg was feeling much better.

Emma and I are going to lunch today, we just have to decide where to go!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Fun and happy family photos! And yes, I too love these blue October skies! Until our kids got married and moved away, we had early Thanksgiving in mid October simply because the weather was (usually) reliably beautiful!

The sun is out here this morning too!! How glorious it is to see!

What a fun way to begin a birthday! I see lots of happy faces! Love that Kyle wanted to be included in the "man" photo. :)

I think the rain has finally left us after another round yesterday afternoon, It's a glorious sunny cool day here today much as your photo shows. So welcome and thankful we made it home around the flooding. Glad you had such a great birthday celebration at the breakfast! What fun!

When my sister lived in Colorado, she said they called those really blue skies "Bluebird Skies" so thats what I call them now. I think that sums them up well.

Information Friday

We had a wonderful wedding weekend in Missouri! We drove, leaving Friday morning and came back on Monday! It was long, but it was worth it...
