"Give Her The Fruit Of Her Hands....

and let her own works praise her in the gates."  This is how Proverbs ends.  I really like that phrase "the fruit of her hands," don't you?

One of my favorite things about being a home keeper is the opportunity to use my hands to beautify my home, and to clothe my family.

I made Lindsay go out in the freezing cold to model her new skirt.  I didn't use a pattern, I just cut two pieces of fabric, made pleats, put a bit of elastic in the waist and voila!  I usually am a stick to the pattern kind of gal, so this was fun.

The style and the fabric suit her so well...

It looks great with her cowgirl boots...

Better view of the colors...it is a caramel color background.

My tweedy/wool fabric skirt.  I did the same style as Lindsay's skirt but I am going to change it a bit - it is too much fullness for me.

Now a bit of a preview of the rag quilt I am making...creams, tans, neutrals....lovely.

All that is left to do is to snip all the edges....this may take a while!

What projects have you been working on? I am going to try to do a linky so join in the fun and show us what you have been up to!

Lindsay's skirt is wonderful! I love the fabric, and it does go well with her boots.

Can't wait to see the finished quilt! I know it's going to be cherished forever. ;-)

I forgot to say that I love Lindsay's shawl, too!

You made a sick young lady go out in the cold? lol

It looks great! Perfect with the shawl and the boots.

Where did that little Lindsay go? All I see now is a young woman.

Lovely skirt, well done! :)

Did you make the shawl, too? That's a lovely colour.

I hope your little guy is getting well.

Blessings to you,

Carol

The link up is fun! I hope you don't mind me linking up a post from a few weeks ago. That was the last time i've been crafty. =)
