Tea...

I am becoming more of a tea lover as I get older.  I have always liked tea, I am pretty much a drinker of a good black basic tea.  I am branching out a bit, becoming a drinker of Chamomile tea, especially Celestial Seasonings Sweet Apple Chamomile!  My two favorite tea pots are seen here in the morning light.  I use these one on the left nearly every day.

Some of my collection of teas.  The Red Tea by Celestial Seasonings is  Moroccan Pomegranate.  My friend Brigette assures me that it is very good.  She had some yesterday afternoon while we were hanging out at our house in the late afternoon. On the Sundays when we have a fellowship meal together the men in our church meet together.  This is a time of encouragement for them as they share and pray together.  During this time we ladies meet too.  We have been studying the Fruit of the Spirit.  Yesterday we had good discussion about Love.

A steaming cup of tea and a few Lorna Doone cookies. I just noticed that Kyle put his little military plane in the photo.  Do you see it behind my pretty teacup?  Boys!  Gotta love them!

I like the ritual of brewing tea and bringing out a few tea cups, some teas, raw honey and milk...of sitting around a good cuppa and sharing life.  Of course, sometimes I am alone when I drink my tea.  This can be just a nice as sharing tea with friends.  In fact most of the family will be gone for a big part of the day today, so I just may need to drink another cup of tea between reading, baking bread and getting some sewing done...

Sounds like a perfect day to me!

Sounds like a lovely day. I'm a iced sweet tea drinker. I'd like to branch out though. Especially this fall. I'll have to start experimenting with different flavors till I find a favorite. ~smile~

My daughter buys Celestial Seasonings tea K-cups (for the Kreuig). I've teased her that it doesn't have quite the same affect as brewing tea in our pretty teapots. She tells me with five small children, she needs speed. :)

Love your tea things. :)

Your day sounds perfect to me too. Finding time alone with a large family is a nice treat.
I'm a tea drinker too. My favorite right now is Pomegranate Pizzazz by Bigelow.
Have a great week :-)
Blessings,
Marcia

Mrs. Rabe,

Your picture of the tea with the cookies looked good. I was tempted to take a cookie through my computer screen. :)

I have tea sometimes, but I am more of a hot cocoa person, and when I drink my cocoa, I like to have some cookies with it too, if they are available.

At any rate, thank you for visiting my blog today and leaving a nice comment. You are welcomed to visit my blog at any time. :)
