I had the pleasure of going to tea with a dear friend on Wednesday.
The food was delicious (as it always is at the Tea Trolley in Delta, PA).
We had a crustini with a sweet tomato relish, a ham with orange marmalade, and a chicken salad with grapes. The desserts were a little chocolate cup, a carrot cake, a raspberry bar, and cookie egg nest. My favorite always are the vanilla scones, with clotted cream and lemon curd.
We enjoyed our time, chatting about many things going on in our lives, and enjoying the beautiful tea room, and of course the food.
I'm thankful for the friends God has given me, they are the sisters I never had!

Delightful setting. Delightful treats. But I'll bet the time shared with your friend was the most delightful of all!
What a perfectly lovely way to spend time - tea time with a friend. *Sigh* How wonderful.
Hope you have your next one together all lined up. Springtime teas are the BEST! ♥
Sure be nice if one day we could meet for tea. Please let me know if you are EVER in the Columbus, Ohio area - I will treat you to tea here! Hugs!
OMG... Tea with a Friend is always special ... Personally, I can remember an instance with tomato relish and ham
... It was YUMMY... but your orange marmalade would have made it even better...Sometimes intimate meeting are better than planned tea parties.... Your rendezvous sounds like the real thing..... xoxoxox
I enjoy going to tearooms, most of the ones near me have closed. You look like yours was nice, it's always great to spend time with a friend.

What a wonderful tea with your friend! All the food sounds so scrumptious, and the vanilla scone...divine! I do have a sister, but I still cherish my girlfriends.

To Michele from Columbus, Ohio...my favorite places are the Kelton House in downtown Columbus, and the Morgan House in Dublin.
What a lovely time that must have been...and the foods looks scrumptious!
We used to have some tea rooms nearby but they seem to have disappeared. It looks like a wonderful setting and delicious food...great photos. Most of all, how nice to have that time with a good friend!
This afternoon tea looks so lovely! How great you got to share it with a friend too :) Tea is definitely best when shared.
A lovely afternoon tea is the best way to catch up with a friend! I'm in a mini egg phase so I was intrigued by the cookie egg nest dessert. I also think that I have a teacup that matches the teapot with the yellow rose in the first photo. Thanks for the visit and Happy Easter!
What a lovely way to spend a day...
