There is a lovely wee chapel in the town nearest to us. Many years ago, it was moved from a different spot on the property, as that section was being sold. I'm glad the beautiful chapel is still there. I took this photo on Wednesday this week.
Sorry this post is late. We had a Fire Safety Day field trip yesterday morning, and then I picked up groceries, and after dinner Tim and I went to visit our friend Jen. She is now out of the regular hospital and is in a private rehab/care hospital. God has been healing her body amazingly!
Well done to President Trump, Secretary Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and partnering countries who have all worked together to move this peace forward!
Look at the date on the last post/picture. October 8, 2018! It has taken a long time to come out, but the truth is making its way to the people.
When you watch the video you think he's a good guy. He's saying all the right things. But when you read his texts you realize he is unhinged calling for the killing of a Republican colleague, and the death of his children! The person he's texting with is trying to get him to stop talking about this but he doesn't.
People tell you who they are. Also the fact that none of the Dems in Virginia will speak out against him, even though they are appalled at it, says volumes about what they really think too! He wants to be the Attorney General of Virginia!

This will be my only post this week. We are headed for a long weekend in Michigan visiting family. We are taking my parents, and it will be a combination of a birthday trip for me, family visit, and fall foliage trip.
Yesterday we lost a man who loved the Lord and the Lord used him to teach believers.

Five years ago Charlie Kirk asked when these officials, who'd been caught lying, were going to face accountability. It seems to be finally starting.
The indictment of James Comey is huge! Did you know that the FBI used to write Comey's name as Corney in official documents so that when someone did a FOIA request for information related to Comey, those wouldn't show up!?
Of course the left is melting down.
Someone else being investigated for his criminal behaviors.
Now that Kash Patel runs the FBI this truth comes out. Of course they likely had to search for the proof of it, which was likely hidden, as so much other information has been.
Pray for this young man.
This is not good.
Something to pay attention to.

My heart has been heavy. The death of the Ukrainian young woman, Charlie Kirk's death, the illnesses of dear friends, and now the death by suicide of a cousin's husband.
There is so much heartbreak in the world. Satan hates what God loves - hates people who are all made in the image of God. Imago Dei - Image of God.
As a believer in Jesus, I have been aware of this but I have not been so keenly aware of the reality of this, if that makes sense.
The Spiritual Warfare is real. I think western Christianity has downplayed spiritual warfare and we are now awakening to it. This is a good thing. We must learn that with the Holy Spirit's help we can fight spiritual forces of darkness.
We have owned our home for 24 years. It has sheltered us a young family of six which grew to a family of eight, and then began the downward cycle as children grew and moved into their adult lives.
We now have five people in our home - which has grown larger with my parents addition to the house. It is still a haven and place of shelter for friends and family. Two rooms that were bedrooms for kids, are now an office and a guest room. We have a large kitchen now.
I know that seems funny with fewer people living here, but we still host people regularly, have family parties, our annual Fall Fest, house guests. We love having people here for lunch on Sundays after church, to come enjoy the pool, we hosted small groups from church for two years. The large kitchen helps us to host more easily.
I love our home. I love using it to welcome people. I'm thankful for the gift of this home.
Autumn has arrived. How grateful I am for this season of beauty.
