Cappuccino Muffins and Computer Issues

I made the family cappuccino muffins last night.  You can find the recipe in this post.  If I could eat them, I'd eat way too many, so good thing I can't.

Now about my computer.  I shut it down fully last night and it won't boot up.  It comes on, gets a quarter of the way loaded and shuts down.  I found online helps but they are not 'helping' so it looks like I'm going to have to take it in to the Apple store.  Rats!

I'm meeting with a friend today who is going to homeschool all three of her kids next year, after homeschooling the oldest this year. I'm smiling because she would always say, "I could never homeschool my kids!"

Have a good day!

  1. Sorry to read about the computer troubles. We are so connected by computers that it does send a little chill down the spine. Hope that it is an easy, affordable fix.

Homeschooling...it does a family good, a society good, a country good.

  2. Your muffins look so good! (And I have eaten your cappuccino muffins before, so I know that they are good!)

Computer problems are SO frustrating. Hope yours is back to rights very soon. (And doesn't cost an arm and a leg.)

About homeschooling . . . I once thought the same thing myself. Now 26-ish years later, I am glad that I changed my tune. Rather, GOD changed my tune!

  4. I, too, was a "never gonna homeschool" momma. And I ended up doing so from 1st and 3rd grades all through high school. I've learned to be very wary of the word "never."

    Those muffins looks delish!!

  5. Those looks amazing! How fun to meet with a mama about homeschooling! I love when I know women who decide they will venture the homeschool ocean! By the way do you have a link to your homeschool blog?

  6. There is nothing that bums me out like having computer issues. I was actually able to fix my last issue by a you tube video. It was a RAM problem...I just removed the RAM v-e-r-y carefully and put it back in and that's all it took. Good luck getting your working again! Those muffins look delicious by the way :)

  7. The muffins maybe softened the computer issues -- oh no, you didn't eat them you just made them. I hope your computer issues were taken care of easily.

  8. I learned long ago to never say never. I had to eat my own words too many times!! ;) I am having phone problems and it stinks so I get it. Hope your tech troubles are better now!
