What Kind Of Tea's In Your Cup?

I've probably shown you this before but I just love it so.

My friend Jane, gifted this sweet lamby pie to me.  She found it at World Market last summer.  It covers my Royal Albert Old Country Roses teapot, and keeps us supplied with hot tea for hours!

With winter here to stay for a few more weeks, we are thankful for the gift of tea to warm and cheer our spirits!

We like to drink Irish Breakfast, Chamomile, Barry's, or Lyon's brand tea.  I also love to drink Yorkshire Gold.  Sometimes I like to drink Oolong with cinnamon, and a tiny bit of cayenne, some vanilla, a bit of sweetener, and some almond milk.  Its really tasty!  Kind of like a chai.

What kind of tea's in your cup?

I'm joining Bernideen today...

  1. Oh my goodness. Your "lamby pie" is making me smile! What a sweet gift!

Coffee is my beverage of choice, but I do love a nice cup of tea now and then. I love Republic of Tea's apricot . . . and English Breakfast . . . and I had some Harney & Sons Holiday Tea at Christmastime and it's delicious!

  2. It is so cute, but if I owned a Royal Albert Old Country Roses anything, don't think I could bring myself to cover it op. Of all the teapots and teacups I have I don't own an Old Country Roses. My favorite now is Twinning's Earl Gray Black Tea.

  3. I have all kinds (too much) of tea in our cupboard, but my afternoon addiction for years has been a hearty cup (before 4 pm) of PG Tips from U.K. The Gardener used to bring it home from his trips as he knew I loved it, but now you can get it here pretty easily. It's nothing special there, but I love it!

  9. I am sipping a cup of Yorkshire decaf tea as I read blogs. I also like Twinings Irish Breakfast, Earl Grey, and Lady Grey Teas. And if I'm feeling under the weather, my homegrown mint and lemon balm leaves make a soothing cuppa.

Such a cute, cute tea cozy!

  10. Dear Deanna:
That tea cozy is really, really cute. I am sure it works good and I love the way it goes over the top. Also, I am sure it has "give" to it like a sweater which is very helpful since teapots are so different. I enjoyed hearing your "favorite teas" as they are some of mine too! Thanks for sharing.

  13. What a delightful tea cozy to find! It is amazing how they do keep the tea hot for so much longer, plus they are just so cute! I like to drink green tea mostly, and chai is a favorite of mine as well, I will have to try your version of chai to see how it tastes. Have a lovely weekend :)
