It's the last day of October and very blustery. The skies have cleared since this photo and it's lovely out!

I had my phone on its holder in the van the other day while driving down a road near my home. It was beautiful, so I started to record. 

We are headed to Florida today to say "Goodbye for now" to a dear friend. Pray for our journey and for the family as they face the death of this dear man. His body will be dead but he will be more alive than he's even been! His spirit will be with the Lord. When it's my time to go, I'm glad he'll be there waiting to say hi!

Fun Fall Weekend

 

We had a wonderful Fall Fest Weekend! The weather was breezy and chilly but we had no rain!

Saturday, in the late afternoon we hosted the jr high and high schoolers from our co-op for a mini fall fest! Camp fire, food, hay rides. They had a lot of fun playing manhunt, hide and seek in the dark, etc.

The parents who stayed had a great time visiting around the fire.

Sunday afternoon we had our regular fall fest. We had smaller numbers this year, but we had a great time. Friends, family, and neighbors came!

I didn't get a lot of photos this year, as I mostly sat, and talked to people! The hay rides were popular! Tim enjoys driving for them very much! 

Today, I have a few things to put away, but it is really all cleaned up. I'm grateful for a day to relax and plan meals for the week. 

October is nearly over, we only have 11 days left in the month. Incredible. The colors here are beginning to really turn.

We live in the yellow section and so we have maybe a week to peak. We had a wet summer and a dry autumn, and I think the colors will be really good here this year. The reds are amazing!

Hi friends!

I hope you've had a great week. I had a really good, but a busy one! This weekend is our annual Fall Fest on Sunday and Saturday is a 7-UPs Fall party here. The 7-UPs are the junior and senior high students at our homeschool co-op. I've been prepping all week. We had a great dinner Wednesday evening with acquaintance friends, who are now just good friends! We met at the wedding of Kati a daughter of Cheryl's from Thinking About Home. 

Mike and Barbara were in town camping and reached out about getting together. They were graciously flexible due to our crazy schedule this week. We had so much fun with them. Next time tea, right Mike?

In Information News, golly it's been quite a week. I've got a lot for you. I'll try not to do too much commentary.

The difference is that the charges against Trump were fake and the charges against Comey, Bolton, and others to come are for real criminal activity.

Trump is not just going against people who treated him badly. He is going after the deep state criminals who thought they would get a way with their behavior.

Keep praying for our nation. We are going to end up with a Islamist as Mayor of NYC. That will bring a lot of issues into the public eye.

Keep praying for the safety of the President, his family, his cabinet, for those who will be President after is time is over. May we continue to build on the reforms he is instituting and Make America Great Again!
