“I am resolved to be a good mother to my children, to pray for them, to set them good examples, to give them good advice, to be careful both of their souls and bodies, to watch over their tender minds; to carefully root out the first appearing and buddings of vice, and to instill piety, virtue and true religion into them.“

You Wouldn't Want To Be Creekside Today

This is what our creek looked like 10 minutes ago...while the rain was pouring down.  Lindsay had to cross the creek earlier this morning to feed the horses, it wasn't so bad then.  Fortunately, once the rain ends it will be a nice flowing creek once again.

All photos by Lindsay Rabe, of course!

Oh my! It looks muddy and wet for sure. Hope that your rain, like ours, is ending in a few hours. Sooner would be fine, too.

Looks like it's moving quite fast!
Have you ever had to be evacuated because of flooding from your creek?
Keep safe..Trish

Oh - ya! What a mess! How long does it usually take to recede? We had a huge downpour this afternoon - and then the sun so suddenly - and a rainbow!

Ren Faire tomorrow - coming out your way again - hope it's gonna be nice!

Joy!
