One of the great blessings of homeschooling is the ability to pack up some schoolwork, lunch and the family and head out into the sunshine.
Kamryn loved being outside and she barely would eat - she just wanted to walk and walk...
Happy girl!
This girlie is growing up so fast...
So is this one...
It was beautiful but windy yesterday and that made it a bit chilly...
The point overlooks the Susquehanna river...
We read our history, played in the playground, I read a book in the sunshine, then we came home. Kamryn went down for her nap and I think it took her all of 1 minute to be sound asleep.
Fresh air, sunshine, good food for body and soul....it was a perfect outing.

Fresh air & sunshine! I wasted it yesterday - and now there's no noticeable "shine"--just sloppy snow.
Next time, I hope I'll take advantage of it - as you did here!
How fun...we spend every day at The Point. LOL! I'm with you, doing school outside does wonders for the whole family. Isn't it sad to think of all of the children that spend their whole day inside of the school buildings that don't even have windows?! Lisa~
I remember those days! So glad to hear you took advantage of the gorgeous day! Warmer temps ahead for the end of the week.
It looks like a beautiful day! The photos are great!
We've had a couple very windy days here this week too! I love how it makes the windchime ring!
We love going there also. Don't get to do that to much anymore. Maybe will make a special effort this weekend (hopefully I will be feeling better by then).
I don't take advantage of such days nearly often enough! Looks like you all had a fabulous, refreshing time!
(You have my mental wheels turning...hmmmm....)
Sounds wonderful!! I loved homeschooling for this very reason!
