Hydrangea Summer (And Meeting Up With A Blog Friend)

The hydrangea are knocking my socks off this summer!  So amazing!  My Limelight hydrangea is going to be full of flowers, too!  Its a great year for my garden!

Its interesting to me that I took all of these photos within minutes of each other but based on the angle of my phone, or the side of the table I was on, resulted in the difference in the lighting.

I'm excited because I'm meeting up with a fellow blogger, Rebecca, who blogs at Life and Godliness.  Her recent post made me realize that she was in our local city and I suggested we get meet up!  I'll try to get some photos!

Have you ever met a blog friend in person?  I have several times and its been great every time!  Happy Friday everyone!

Hydrangeas are my absolute favorite. I do love the pink ones... well, who am I kidding, I love them all. But your photos are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the bounty and beauty! And no, I have not met a fellow blogger, but oh what fun for you! I have so quite a few I'd love to meet!!

Beautiful Hydrangeas, I love the colour variations.
I have met several bloggers, from UK, from Canada and from Germany. It is always a pleasant time.

Oh and I forgot to say that I have met several other bloggers and one of them is you! So I know that Rebecca is in for a treat, too!

I love hydrangeas! We don't have any, but we definitely do need to plant some.

What great fun to meet up with a blog friend. I'm sure it'll be a wonderful time. I have not yet met up with a blog friend. Had plans to meet up with Vee in May, but it didn't work out. Hopefully this summer, as we are not all that far apart geographically.

I have, however, met up with an online friend whom I got to know through my blog, and we have been able to get together several times over the years since she has family in New England. A very rewarding side benefit of blogging, these dear friendships we would not otherwise have had.

I love them all, too! My purple-ish ones used to be more blue, so I need to amend the soil a bit!

Rebecca and I had a great time. 2 1/2 hours flew by! Thankful we could connect!

The hydrangea are so amazing! It poured off and on all day today, so hopefully they all survived!

Please, please tell me the secret to hydrangeas blooming, my bushes are lush and green, but no blooms! Hydrangeas are one of my favorites! Your blooms are so pretty, I have only had mine to bloom once and that was a few years ago! Have a blessed evening.
