Spring is definitely here! Forsythia is in bloom, daffodils are as well. My lilac has leaves, the maple trees have their seeds starting.
This weekend was full of home things. I did some spring cleaning. How do door jams and doors get so dirty? (smile) I never want to forget that an empty house stays clean, but a house that gets dirty has lots of people, big and little, passing through it.
A few months ago my youngest local grand managed a sticky, but perfect handprint on the fridge. I left it for the longest time! That little hand won't stay little for long.
Yesterday, after church, Tim and I went to the park next to the Conowingo Dam and watched the eagles. We even saw one snag a fish lunch from the river!
We stopped and picked up some chicken for our own lunch. Then we took a scenic drive home. It was a lovely.
This week is going to be nice weather wise, but we have a chance of rain on Easter.
I have some planning to do for Easter. This is one of my favorite holidays. Celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus. Oh, I am so thankful for his sacrifice! Thank you, God for your redeeming plan.
I hope you had a lovely weekend, too!
