Off to Longwood Gardens

The weather being so lovely today, we are headed to Longwood Gardens. It is an estate that belonged to Pierre duPont. We always love to walk around and see the "eye of water", the beautiful fountains, the flowers in bloom (of course), the conservatories with orchids, roses etc...the have a wonderful children's garden there, as well as an idea garden. Well, it is just heavenly. They also have a century plant that is ready to bloom! We just have to go see it!

Here is a link to their website: www.longwoodgardens.org

I will post pictures of our time there.
