Happy Birthday!

To a sweet girl!

This is her golden birthday!  She's 11 on the 11th!

She's full of fun!

She loves to read, as long as the book isn't boring.  Here is she yesterday while we were waiting for Rachel at her cello lesson.  She's reading Tales from Shakespeare by Charles and Mary Lamb.

Here she is with her friend Ally Beth on Ally's birthday!  Aren't they cute?

Sarah is really coming into her own now.  She's not just the little sister anymore.

I think she's beautiful, oh yes, I do!  I think she looks just like her Momma!

Can you see the resemblance?

Today we are celebrating our girl and on Sunday I am hosting some of her friends for a real tea.  White table cloth, scones, cream,'s going to be fun and special.

Just like she is.

Here is a link to a story about Sarah that shows her tender heart.

  1. Happy Birthday to Sarah! I loved all the pictures, but I'm particularly fond of the mother/daughter mug shot.
A girl who reads AND has spunk... right after my own heart.

  2. Happy Birthday to a beautiful young lady. Sarah blesses my heart every time she comes up to visit with Grandma Ruth and Grandma Georgia in "their" row at church.

  3. Happy Birthday to a lovely young lady. Pretty, and fun, and loves to read. Yesssssss!!!!!

And you are going to host a Real Tea for her and her friends. Oh you are one special Nana!!!!!!!!!! Yes, yes, yes. What a lovely memory you will be making. For them, and for you too.

Hope you allowed to take pictures, to share with us.

    Gentle hugs,

  4. Happy Birthday to your lovely, sweet Sarah! May her special day be glorious!

  5. Happy Birthday to Sarah! Hope her day was specially wonderful.
