Here is how we started out the New Year last January. We had no idea that in just a few weeks, Kyle would have his accident. He's doing very well, and we are thankful to God for his many mercies.
A good part of this year I have spent putting my house back together after the addition for my parents got finished just before Thanksgiving last year.
Tim's business was very busy this year and we again give thanks to God! It has allowed us to save up to do a major project that will be starting January 6th, and allowed us to give to people with needs. This economy is tough.
Our kids continue to be a source of joy to us, all adults now. We've taken advantage of every opportunity to spend time together with extended family too, and it's been great.
We experienced the aurora borealis for the first time!
We never know what a day will bring let alone a year, but we know we can trust in God to be with us. He is faithful and true.
We have New Year's Eve tomorrow, our daughter's birthday on New Year's Day, then our 37th anniversary on the 2nd. Lots to celebrate.
Happy New Year, friends!

I am not his mama, but I still cringe when I think of Kyle's accident. It is amazing that he is doing so well! There were also some lovely days in your year . . . babies (congrats on your newest grandbabe!) and weddings and family gatherings . . . plenty of goodness! (Oh . . . and house-y things which we both love!)
Yes, thank God that He is faithful and true! We can trust Him!
