Happy Christmas Adam!

We had a lovely Christmas service yesterday at church. Then we took the girls home, we came home and I made Monte Christo sandwiches for lunch.

After lunch we put up the big screen and watched the second How To Train Your Dragon movie.

We got some snow on Friday and due to cold temps it is still around!

We've had sunshiny days though, and the snow is going away.

Tomorrow, is our annual lunch out for Tim's birthday! Since he is a Christmas Eve baby, we always celebrate him for the first half of the day. We go to a restaurant that is not very crowded on Christmas Eve, and invite lots of friends and family to join us. It's the kind of place kids can get up and move around and put quarters in the machines. (Fuddruckers) Everyone is happy there. We buy the desserts for everyone, Tim and Nate go next door for coffees (Fudd's doesn't sell coffee) and we hang out for hours! It's a highlight of our year!

Then home, and in the evening we do stockings.

These are the plans we make and some years things just don't work out. Maybe there is illness, or a choice made to do something different than our traditions. It's okay. Tim and I hold these things loosely. There might be a year when he and I decide to go to Tennessee for Christmas with our daughter's family.

Christmas is the same whether we are with family or friends, because we are celebrating the ONE who came. Without his coming there is no resurrection, no hope of eternity with the Lord.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

The Light of the World has come!
