These are the beautiful tulips that my daughter in law brought for me on Easter. It seems crazy that Easter was a week ago. Our family is now entering one of our big birthday months.
My dad, mom, Rachel, and Nate all have May birthdays, plus there is Mother's Day. We'll be celebrating all month!
I've come to a stand still on my bedroom. I need a rug, new lamps, and some art for the walls - still. I put is aside for a while but now am eager to get it finished.
I need to get the Guest room finished, too. We'll be using it at the end of July and into August as wedding guests come into town. That is a fun deadline!
I don't know what it's like where you life, but here it is green, green, green! Loving the flowering trees and shrubs, the hay fields, the wild violets in the yard! Mowing season has begun, too.
I'd felt like I'd been eating badly lately but when I weighed myself this morning I am down five pounds from the last time I weighed myself! I'll take that victory!

Sarah is having the Bridesmaids where Emerald green and the guys will have Emerald ties. I chose this photo because is shows summer flowers. Sarah wants to use roses and other flowers in the colors of the roses Dave has given her over the last year! Sweet.
Sarah is having Kyle stand up with her as a bridesman and he is going to wear a kilt! He will wear a white dress shirt like the groomsmen, as well as an Emerald green tie.
sourceI am working on a floral list, and we have already made a plan for food with the caterer. Things are right on track.
Now I should get moving, literally. I've been at the computer for quite some, and need to move!
Have a great day, friends!

Love the color Green....I know this is going to be a beautiful wedding. We have one grandson getting married in two weeks...another one getting married in September. So much to do in planning weddings...
Your tulips are absolutely gorgeous—what a lovely Easter gift. It sounds like you're gearing up for an exciting few months with all those birthdays and wedding plans. I love the emerald green theme for the bridesmaids and groomsmen—such a beautiful choice for a summer wedding! It must be so fun to be involved in all the details, especially with Sarah’s sweet idea for the flowers. You’re making amazing progress on everything, and it’s great to hear about your weight loss victory! Keep up the fantastic work, and I hope the rest of your projects come together just as beautifully.
I am sure the days will fly by quickly for you in these upcoming months! How exciting to be planning for a wedding and house guests and so many happy things!
Oh!! I can't wait to see photos of the event!!
Happy week!
hugs
Donna
