This was a blessing to me - when I started to blog it was to share my life in the hopes of being an encouragement to others. I was happy to know that is happening....all credit goes to the Lord! It is His work, in His way that has helped me to grow, to desire more of Him and to share that with my precious family and with you....Thank you Ronda, I am humbled to be in the company of the other women you chose.

I am saying THANK YOU to both Miss Paula and Becky from Hospitality Lane, for this award! I love them both dearly!

I want to pass it along to blog friends "old" and new!

Lady Jane - this dear gal always inspires me and makes me laugh. She is one of my oldest blog friends!

Karen - is a new friend and I really like her! She shares her life and friendship and I have enjoyed getting to know her!

Brenda - Coffee, Tea, Books, and me is a blog that I have begun to read more regularly. It always is encouraging, fun and uplifting.

Stephanie- at Cottage Thoughts is Brenda's daughter. I have enjoyed reading her posts on hospitality. This blog is a recent find, and I try to read it several times a week.

Melissa - her Home and Heaven blog is a new one to me - I found it through "Eyes of Wonder" and "Little Jenny Wren." I appreciate her heart for her family and the simple things of life. We are both home educators as well.

Of course, I have many more I could give it to, but some have already been given it by others and I don't want to be repetitive! Just know that I gain something from all my blogging friends and I am so thankful for all of you!

Blog Award!

Ok, I finally got it straightened out! It was given to me by Chelsea, who is the daughter of Becky from Hospitality Lane. She gave it to me for encouraging her in her blogging, but she encourages me, with her blogging and her kindness to others!

She is a sweet girl, she has been a student of mine this year. I love it when young girls are walking with God! She is and on her blog she is having influence on other kids. Way to go Chelsea!

I thought it was she who gave it to me, but then I couldn't find the post about it on her blog, Alicia from Renewed in Him reminded me. Now I think I remember that it came from Chelsea but from her Mom's blog!!! So no wonder my confused mind!

An Apology

Someone sweet gave this award to me - but and here is where the apology comes in - I can't remember who it was! Oh, I am pitiful....

You see it came in the middle of sick kids, and other craziness, so I saved it thinking I would

post it when I could give it some attention....

Random Acts of Kindness

My dear sister in law, Miss Paula at Gathering of Friends has given me this award. She gave it to me for being prayer partners along with Becky at Hospitality Lane. I could easily pass this award right back to them! Paula and I have known each other for about 38 years I think! We grew up in the same church, that her father pastored. When we were older we along with my brother (whom she married) and her sister Beth, used to have a standing date night on Fridays to play games and eat! We minus Robert used to go to Jazzerize together!

I have been in 3 waiting rooms with her while she gave birth to 3 of her children, she was with me when I had my oldest!

We have both grown and matured, thanks to the Grace of God! I am so thankful for her and her friendship.

As for Becky, we have known each other about 7 years? But she has become a true friend. One you can tell your heart's sorrows to, and know that she is going to help you take them to the only One who can carry them for you!

I want to pass this Random Acts of Kindness award along to Sherry at lula's heart. I know, I know every award I pass on is to her but she is just a kindred spirit in so many ways. She deserves all these awards! Also to Kelly at The Barefoot Momma. This is a new blog for me but she is sweet and loves the Lord and her family. I have enjoyed reading about staging a house for sale! It also encourages me to see young women walking with the Lord, and in this light I also want to give this award to our niece Melissa at Elijah's Adventures. She is a lovely, creative young wife and mother, who serves the Lord wholeheartedly!

Blog Award

My Niece (in law) has given me this award. Alicia said, "she a wonderful lady who follows the Lord and loves her family dearly. As I read her blog, I can see her tenderness and unconditional love that she displayes for her family. I think she deserves this award today!"

I am honored. Her words were especially sweet. Alicia has a great blog "Renewed in Him", as do my sister in law at "Gathering of Friends", and Becky at "Hospitality Lane." However they all have recently received this award.

So I am going to give this award to Melissa at "Elijah's Adventures", and Sarah at "ellie skees", and haus frau at "lulas hardt." These blogs all encourage me and challenge me in my faith, and in my work as a wife and mother.

Thanks again Alicia and thanks to everyone who reads my blog. The blogosphere can be a scary place, I suppose, but I have also found it to be full of wonderful people!

Becky thinks I'm rockin! Hee hee. My kids would be completely rolling on the floor, laughing about that! However, I appreciate that she really means that she likes my blog!
