On A Gloomy Day...

What's needed is some light and warmth.  These daffodils are from our garden, and were picked by Sarah for me the other day.  They add a sweet sunny touch by the sink.  Makes doing dishes and clean up much nicer.

Not to be outdone, Kyle picked some as well, and they are on our kitchen table.  I love the way my kids show me love and that they are thinking of me throughout the day.  They know I love flowers and wanted to surprise me!

Usually we eat these clementines around Christmas but a box of California Cuties were just the thing for some Vitamin C this week.  These are so tasty!

The bookcase at the end of the hallway.  I love to use my oil lamps and it adds a touch of warmth and light on a gloomy day.

Can you see the raindrops splattering in the bird bath?

Lavender scented candle - my friend Becky makes the most delightful soy candles.  You can find her Etsy store here

  4. Love the flowers, Love the oil lamps and candles too. Beauty, light and warmth. Are not these things all part of what makes our houses...homes in which others long to be in. Your home has this and much more....I bet the Love that abides within cannot be equaled!
