Quote by Corrie Ten Boom

"Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God."
~ Corrie Ten Boom
How thankful I am to the Lord for allowing us to use the experiences, hardships, and sorrows even to help one another.
2 Corinthians 1: 3-7
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
Now if we are afflicted, it if for your consolation and salvation which is effective for enduring the same sufferings, which we also suffer.  Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation."
We were blessed and encouraged this weekend as the Lord allowed a difficulty that we have gone through,  to be used to encourage and hopefully give hope to a family who is going through something very similar.
I love Corrie's quote because in these uncertain times, when life can seem frightening, it is a reminder that we do not need to fear but that we can trust our trustworthy God.
Have a wonderful day, loving your family, trusting God, and walking so, so close to Him.

Catching up again my friend :-) This is a beautiful post, and the scriptures and quote are all so comforting. The Hiding Place is one of my favorite books.

Jordan continues to improve. I'll have an address up for him is a day or two.
